Waterbury - Waterbury Center
Waterbury is known as the recreational crossroads of Vermont and is centrally located between Burlington, Vermont's Queen City, and Montpelier, the State Capital. Waterbury is also filled with a variety of flavors you are sure to enjoy.

is located on a rolling pasture just 1/2 mile to the north on Route 100. Guided factory tours are fun and education for all ages, and have been hailed by the "U.S. News and World Report" as one of the top 10 tour experiences in the country. Open year round.

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters
blends its coffees right here in Waterbury and distributes them all over the world. Green Mountain Coffees can be purchased directly from their own company store, located just 1/2 mile away.

Cold Hollow Cider Mill
is a working apple cider press located 3 miles to the north on Route 100. Here you'll find Vermont apples, cider donuts, cheeses, maple syrup and a variety of Vermont made products. Watch cider making and enjoy free samples.

Cabot Creamery
is world-renowned for their award winning cheddars that you'll find in stores throughout the country. At the Cabot Creamery Annex, just 2 miles away, you can sample their cheeses and stock up on your favorites. A little further away in the Village of Cabot you'll find their Visitors Center where you see how they transform the daily milk from the 400member family farms into traditional Vermont Cheeses - the same way they've been doing it for 70 years.

Golf enthusiasts can enjoy the 9 hole course at Blush Hill Country Club (1/2 mile) or the 18 hole course at The Country Club of Vermont (1 mile).

Skiing
Located in the Heart of Ski Country, you can choose from Stowe, Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, and Bolton Valley. Cross-country, Downhill, Snowshoeing and Snowboarding at its best!

The Village of Stowe
is that quaint New England Village you've seen in magazine. Just 10 miles to the north. Stowe abounds with interesting things to do and see. For instance, there's The Stowe Gondola & Alpine Slide, the Trapp Family Lodge, Vermont made crafts, and the Antique Shops. If you're looking for a special something to bring home, you'll probably find it in Stowe.

Barre - Montpelier Area
Montpelier, the State Capitol is just 12 miles to the south. In and around this area you'll find more interesting Vermont attractions including the New England Culinary Institute, the Morse Maple Sugar Farm, and the Rock of Ages Granite Quarry.

Sugarbush
15 miles to the South you'll find the Mad River Valley, which is home to the Sugarbush and Mad River Glen Ski Areas. Discounted ski lift tickets for Sugarbush can be purchased at our front desk.

Burlington
26 miles to the north is the Burlington Area with it's Church Street Marketplace, Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, and Spirit of Ethan Allen Cruise Ship. Another favorite stop is Shelburne Farms and Museum.

Spring Sugar Tour
The first sign of Spring in Vermont is steam rising from sugarhouses. During the first weekend of spring Vermont holds its annual Maple Open House. Visit a traditional Vermont Sugarhouse and learn some of the history of maple syrupmaking the Vermont way. The Morse Maple Sugar Farm and the Bragg Farm Sugarhouse are a short drive away in the Montpelier area and are open year round.
