At the Cabot Creamery Annex, just 2 miles away, you can sample their cheeses and stock up on your favorites. A little further away in the Village of Cabot you'll find their Visitors Center where you see how they transform the daily milk from the 400member family farms into traditional Vermont Cheeses - the same way they've been doing it for 70 years.
Golf enthusiasts can enjoy the 9 hole course at Blush Hill Country Club (1/2 mile) or the 18 hole course at The Country Club of Vermont (1 mile).

The Village of Stowe

Barre - Montpelier Area
Montpelier, the State Capitol is just 12 miles to the south. In and around this area you'll find more interesting Vermont attractions including the New England Culinary Institute, the Morse Maple Sugar Farm, and the Rock of Ages Granite Quarry.
Sugarbush

Burlington

Spring Sugar Tour
The first sign of Spring in Vermont is steam rising from sugarhouses. During the first weekend of spring Vermont holds its annual Maple Open House. Visit a traditional Vermont Sugarhouse and learn some of the history of maple syrupmaking the Vermont way. The Morse Maple Sugar Farm and the Bragg Farm Sugarhouse are a short drive away in the Montpelier area and are open year round.
