This year took an unexpected turn. Amid the unpredictability, this year we still give thanks to the people and places around us that keep us going.
Travel is complicated now. Many of our guests this year have gone through great lengths to come to Vermont, and we appreciate all your efforts. We are also thankful to our guests who have not been able to make a trip this year… we miss you and look forward to when you can come back.
From front desk to laundry, reservations to breakfast, and everyone in between, our staff always goes above and beyond to offer our guests the experience you deserve, all day, every day. And it shows. We’ve caught the attention of Best Western brand leaders, and for two years in a row, we’ve received the MK Guertin Award for excellent customer service, as well AAA’s Best of Housekeeping award and the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award.
We are thankful for our health in a year when we feel more vulnerable. The Best Western brand cleaning standards keep our staff and guests safe from COVID, and we are able to plug into the excellent We Care Clean protocol.
Chief Canine Ronnie joined us as the pandemic unfolded. He and our General Manager, Melissa, are a team as they navigate challenges of daily life. Service dog extraordinaire, Ronnie works hard. But he has also been known to pose with his ball or winter hat, a sweet workplace dog whose loyal presence makes us and our guests smile.
We are privileged to be able to serve guests in this historic town with a close-knit community and vibrant downtown. Our location in the beautiful state of Vermont provides us with ample recreational activities, amazing local food, and stunning views year-round.
What are you thankful for this holiday season?
