History of Ben & Jerry’s

Ben & Jerry’s was founded in 1978 by Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, childhood friends who opened their first ice cream parlor in a renovated gas station in Burlington Vermont.

Tours

The 30-minute tour begins with a short film followed by a view of the production room where you will learn how the famous ice cream pints are produced.

The tour ends with a trip to the Flavor room, where you will be able to taste some delicious ice cream.

A highlight of the tour the Flavor Graveyard, where you can view some departed flavors (Rest in Peace). Additionally, guests can enjoy the full-service Scoop Shop and the gift shop for all things Ben & Jerry’s.
